Described as "grungy", "crowded", "a dense of hipster thieves", The Green Room epitomizes "hole in the wall", with an entrance at the literal end of a dark alleyway, buried next to graffiti of a snake, various tags, and ripped propaganda. Inside, vaguely ethnic art hangs, occasionally smothered in Christmas lights, and the smell and noise continue the theme from outside. The kitchen is questionable, but apparently the Asian food is spot on. Its jukebox is perpetually broken. Stairs lead to a "hidden" back porch, often populated by hipsters who believe the 'hidden' part, but the joint's various couches can be reserved and, on less busy student days, they consistently are reserved for regular parties whose reputation is heavily implied by both their attitudes and the general murmur on the street, though nothing is said outright.

Weekends are busy student nights.
Once in a while, the club is held open past its hours for such "private parties".
